It clearly is of a different revision, visually there is something different in the tuner region. All chips have very different markings and the serial numbers are far apart. Btw. before the new card arrived, I already had bought another identical Hauppage DVB-C card from a local vendor (www.verkkokauppa.com), and it is also a new revision and works well. The differences around tuner can be seen in the following pictures: non-working cards: http://hyvatti.iki.fi/pictures/shot/06528 Serials: 2023491102900061 2023491102900185 working cards: http://hyvatti.iki.fi/pictures/shot/06874 Serials: 2022032302603025 2022032402604620 A good advice for at least the HTV cable network in Helsinki is to tune their channels 0.25MHz below the official frequencies with Linux drivers. Either the tuner, Linux drivers or HTV network, or all of them have some inaccuracies there. Also the chips run quite hot, so I plan on adding some passive heatsinks on them. People on mailing lists have found that it helps with occassional lockup problems.
